If you scan the map with your eyes, the words wharf, landing and docks will appear repeatedly. You will also notice that if the rest of the urban pattern is coloured in yellow and red, large freestanding blocks of grey dominate this particular side of the river. It is obviously a post-industrial landscape, and poor minorities and working class communities, poor transport infrastructure and no civic scale amenities all come to mind. Imagine deserted areas of warehouses
and gigantic sheds, or a bleak suburbia inside of the city. >>>
