The physical presence of the new building together with the strong and committed program of the Laban Centre must certainly invigorate the local communities and hopefully bring outside interest and much needed investment to the area. Certainly, it shows solidarity towards the existing urban fabric that makes up this semi-industrial area. It offers a way to move forward and face the pressures from the global economy hub of neighbouring Canary Wharf that is not pejorative to the existing communities. >>>
