THE COVERED PLAZA BY CARLOS RAUL VILLANUEVA

Beginning in the second part of the 40s and over a period of 30 years, the Venezuelan architect Carlos Raúl Villanueva engaged in the building of the University City of Caracas, Venezuela.
We could say that "To review this project is to trace the conceptual evolution of the architect and the development of the determined modernity that prevailed in Latin America during that same period"*.

*quote taken from Enrique Larrañaga's lecture at the Architectural Association.
